It brought my laptop to life. I had almost lost hope that my laptop needs to be replaced and I had also started looking for another laptop when I just thought of taking a chance with just changing the charger. Best decision taken! My laptop works like a charm now and it has resumed it's speed and efficiency. I had a local made charger before this one, probably because of that the laptop had started dying. But I am a happy customer now. :)

Works perfectly
I wanted an original charger for my laptop to replace a faulty one. This one arrives in an original box with paperwork exactly as pictured. The problem was the laptop would run on battery even with the PSU plugged in but run on full power so the battery drained fast. The odd thing was it also said no battery detected even though the HP diagnostics checked it OK. I noticed the power indicator was off at the time. If I wiggled the lead between the PSU and the laptop the light would come on and the thing started operating normally. This new PSU works perfectly, the battery is detected and is charged while the laptop runs on the PSU. Very happy :-)

Nice charger
Bought for use with my laptop when in the office, this charges runs all day with no problems. Runs a little warmer than the original charger I use at home, but with no ill effect.

No more dead batteries!
There have been enough times that I've arrived home with my laptop, only to realise that I'd left my charger at work, that I finally bought a second, so that I can now leave the charger where it is.
It looks identical to the charger that came with my laptop, and works the same.

Absolutely Perfect!!
This adapter worked perfect as a replacement for my Notebook PC. Looks just the same as the original and works the same as the original that came with my laptop. Absolutely no problems

Great service and good value product
I don't know if this is a genuine part but the specs are the same and most importantly, my computer accepted it immediately and it has been happily charging ever since. Literally, just plug in and go. I did double check with the company 1st to check compatibility though. Also, I was quoted more £30 for this part plus the plug from the official site, so this is a much better price for such a small item, including the plug. I received this product a few days from ordering. Hope this info helps.

Well worth a little extra
There are a lot of replacement power supplies on the market and some of them are pretty nasty. This one isn't. The original charger for my laptop died, as they always do, when the cable within the outer sheath started to break-up resulting in intermittent connection - which wasn't doing my battery any good as it was switching in and out constantly as mains power failed and then came back on.
I've run it constantly for a few days so feel pretty confident in recommending it. Only time will tell how long it will last but so far so very good!

So far this adapter is really good, it looks genuine which doesn't usually matter to me but thought I'd comment on it none the less. So far I haven't gotten those annoying messages telling me its not official or whatever now this will probably happen eventually but the main thing is that it charges, most people know that if you bend the adapter it'll eventually connect and charge (not full proof but the laptops seem to have problems with the connections between battery and adapters and I cannot afford to buy a new laptop and I'm out of warranty) I've not had to do that as of yet and it is early days but I'm hopeful that this adapter lasts a little longer than others.

Very good genuine adaptor.
Bought this to replace a non-original charger I purchased from another source a couple of years ago and subsequently went faulty. It worked perfectly on a reconditioned laptop I purchased about 5 years earlier, but eventually the laptop has stopped working ( not the fault of the adaptor)). I think it may be the battery ( which is not a original battery) or some fault within the laptop itself. I've asked a friend to look at it for me before I would buy another battery.

I needed a replacement for my laptop after my original power charger finally gave up the ghost and stopped charging my laptop battery.
I have no complaints. It charged my laptop from 5% to 100% fully charged fast. Just what I needed.

Is what it is. Might not be the cheapest alternative but it's also much less likely to accidentally fry your laptop so is probably worth it in the long run. Cheaper than buying directly from the official site when I bought it so... win there.

Works Perfectly! Great Price! I moved and somehow lost the charging power adapter. Searching online, I found this unit and ordered it. Arrived in very sturdy packaging, opened the unit, plugged it in, and it charges great. Works just as the original unit did. The power unit has strong reinforced connections where the power and charging cables are attached - looks like it will hold up well to lots of wire flexing from packing and unpacking. It's a charger
It's quite difficult to find chargers online that are the exact ones that shipped with your specific laptop model, especially at a reasonable price.
Eventually after much searching we found this one. It looks to be the exact same as the original (that my partner lost) and charges just as well as we would expect.

This is just perfect for my laptop I am very pleased with this item just what I wanted.

If you have AC ADAPTER UNKNOWN a new charger may be needed.
Had issue with a battery, it had died on my laptop. Bought new battery which was now being recognised but not charging. Looking at BIOS settings it showed battery health excellent but AC ADAPTER = UNKNOWN. Tried many different things as suggested by various forums. I thought that the main board had an issue and it wasn't worth the cost of repairing. So I thought final thing it may be is the adapter, so when it arrived I was not hopeful at all. Plugged it in and amazingly it worked perfect, started to charge the battery and before the BIOS would throttle my laptop but now working super fast as it should.
So if you have AC ADAPTER UNKNOW error it may well be a new adapter you need. It was the middle wire that must have gone bad in the old adapter, as that is used to communicate to the BIOS if it is a genuine charger, Hope this helps someone in the future!

Genuine Charger
If you need a new charger buy this one. I originally purchased a replacement charger from one of the off brand companies on amazon and it ended up not working and I had to return it. This one is a bit more expensive but it'll save you the headache of having to worry about it working.

Works like any factory charger should
The only difference I noticed with this adapter was the thick cable that connects to the electrical outlet was not the same smooth texture as the original adapter. Other than that, I have not had any issues with this adapter! My computer did NOT give me an error with it!
I'm so happy it arrived on time because I use heavy software on my laptop, and that drains it pretty quickly. However, if I use the regular browser and apps on it, I'm sure my computer would have had enough power to be active for more than a day or two.

extra laptop charger
so nice to be able to get one without going direct to company. They charge too much for me. it is great to have an extra one, especially if you move your laptop from room to room without having to unplug and carry cord and all with you.... Works great thanks

A Standard Replacement - Exactly as Described
Nothing about this product is interesting or exceptional and that is what makes it 5 stars. Take it out of the package and it is a 100% replacement for the power supply that comes with the laptop - no muss no fuss. I purchased this as a replacement for a power supply that was damaged and there was no adjustment period. Plug and play, no different experience, exactly as advertised.

Great power supply that stays plugged in at home.
After a year of traveling I decided it was time to get an additional power supply for my laptop. This plug works great. I leave it plugged in at home and the other power supply stays in the laptop bag. Works just like the original.

Three Stars then Five Stars
First of all, the quality of the item seems to be good! I have tested it only for 1 day so not sure how it is going to work on the long term. I am not sure it is genuine as the label on the charger seems washed out compared to the original one I had when I bought the computer, also the color on the DC plug also seems a bit different (paler in color) and the tip maybe longer than the original one, but that is okay as long as it works.
Second of all, the service quality was rather terrible, no communication, no messages. I was not provided with any tracking number, no messages that my item was shipped already This gives impression that it's a scam and the items are not even in the UK, but the address seemed to be a valid UK warehouse. Update: All the emails are in my SPAM folder,so everything is OK.
The packaging was nice and well, very secure. I am pleased overall it turned out great, I just wish communication was better and your website funcionality was better too as I could not manage to see my order on the website most of the time, that is why I only left you 3 stars as it caused me inconvenience and anxiety. Thank you anyway.
